Who this policy covers
This policy applies to this website only. It does not cover Candy AI itself or any other site you reach through a link here. Once you click through to an external platform, that platform's own privacy policy governs what happens to your data, and you should read it before creating an account.
What we collect
We do not run a signup form, a newsletter or an account system, so we do not ask you for a name, an email address or a payment method. The information we do handle is limited to the following.
- Server logs. Our host records standard request data such as IP address, browser user agent, referring page and the time of the request. This is used to keep the site online and to spot abuse.
- Analytics. If analytics are enabled on this site, they record aggregate page views, approximate country and device type. We do not use analytics to build a profile of an individual visitor.
- Affiliate tracking. Links on this page carry an affiliate identifier. When you click one, the destination platform may set a cookie so it can attribute a later subscription to this site. We receive commission reports in aggregate. We do not receive your name, email address, payment details or anything you type into that platform.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising cookies of its own. Cookies set by the destination platform after you click through are controlled by that platform. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time, though doing so may stop the destination platform from recognising a returning visit.
Legal basis and your rights
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests to operate and secure the site, and on consent where consent is required for analytics or tracking in your jurisdiction. You have the right to request access to any personal data we hold about you, to request correction or deletion, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what categories of personal information are collected and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under the CCPA.
Data retention
Server logs are retained for a short operational period and then discarded. Aggregate analytics may be retained longer because they contain no identifying information.
Children
This site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has accessed this site, contact us and we will act on it.
